Speaking at a meeting held at Senjam Chirang community hall, Ambrabati said that Kuki militants attacked Senjam Chirang village from Haraothel, Pheijang and Leilon Vaiphei villages on Saturday night at around 9 pm and continued till Sunday morning. She said that the Meira Paibis of the area have been on vigil and have also been providing the security forces stationed at the area who retaliated to the attacks to safeguard the people.

Expressing her firm stand against the ensuing Lok sabha election, she condemned the government and leaders for taking more importance on the election when the people’s life at the peripheral areas are at stake. She also alleged different political party leaders for extending help to the people of the Kuki community even after the attacks carried out by the Kuki militants.
