The Chakpikarong Youth Club (CYC) on Saturday organised a career guidance cum Anal zoo (literature) workshop at the Chakpikarong Community Hall in Chandel district with an aim to guide the youths of the village on their career and the Anal literature.
As a resource person, Rng Wilson, Lecturer, Living Hope Theological College, spoke on religion as a way of life and how one can be closer to God through it. He also encouraged the youths of the village to always seek God and put Him first in their lives.
Without God, we are nothing but with God, we can do everything for His glory, Wilson said, urging the participants to always put God first.
Ruwndar Lastny, Lecturer, Maha Union Govt Higher Secondary School, Chandel spoke on the various career opportunities available today. She called on the participants and encouraged them to move ahead in life with a plan and work hard towards it with sincerity and dedication.
If you are not sincere in your work, not dedicated in whatever you do, you will not be successful in life, she advised them.
Bs Khelhring, author of Anal grammar and a renowned scholar among the Anal community, spoke on Anal literature and grammar. He spoke on the importance of Anal literature which has been introduced by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur and how it will help the Anal community in moving forward.
Almost every community/tribe in the state has their own literature thus making it easier for them to study their own history and the likes. In the same way, the study of Anal zoo (literature/grammar) is a must, he told the participants.
The event saw a good number of youths, especially those who just appeared the Class X and Class XII examinations, participating in the event.
