Independent candidate for Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Alyson Abonmai has received support from the local populace of Langathel under polling number 34/31, Wangjing Tentha assembly constituency in Thoubal district.

In this regard, a campaign was carried out by organising a meeting at Langathel. The event was attended by election commission organiser N Deben, Ching Tam Women Development Association Manipur, advisor S Raju, convener S Ibemcha, etc. took part.

The meeting lauded the work undertaken by the candidate during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the activities he carried out to resolve the conflict in the state. The meeting resolved to support the candidate, citing his target to fulfill the demand to enlist the Meiteis into the ST category.
