A hand grenade allegedly planted by miscreants was found at the gate of UNACCO College, Khongman Zone-3, under the jurisdiction of the Irilbung police station in Imphal East district, Manipur around 1.50 pm on Friday.

The grenade was discovered inside a steel container wrapped in a plastic bag.

A team of State Police’s Bomb Disposal Squad safely disposed of the bomb at Keirao Angourou Hill in Imphal East District around 4.45 pm.
