BJP Manipur Pradesh on Saturday strongly condemned the violence that broke out in Pallel on Friday, which claimed two innocent lives and injured several others, including many Meira paibis and youths.

BJP Manipur Pradesh, in a release, decried the brutality of the Assam Rifles, who allegedly fired live bullets at the mob. Over 50 civilians were injured in the violence, it stated.
It urged the central forces to refrain from carrying out such extensive cruel methods to control a mob. It further shared grief with the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to all those injured in the incident.
