One subedar of 6th MR was found hanging at his residence in Kwakeithel Moirangpurel under Singjamei Police Station on Thursday, sources said.
The deceased subedar has been identified as Irom Binoy, 40, son of I Kishorchand of Kwakeithel Moirangpurel. He was currently attached under CID Imphal.
As per the sources, he jumped from the third storey of his house with a rope tied around his neck at around 3 pm.
