An unidentified man, who was found unconscious in front of the MPSC hall under the Imphal police station around 7.30 pm on Thursday, was declared dead by doctors at RIMS Hospital, Imphal.

According to sources, a police team rushed the man to the RIMS hospital where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’. The body was kept at the RIMS mortuary, it stated. It is suspected that the person may have died from a drug overdose.

The word ‘DELIP’ was found tatooed on the right arm of the unidentified man, sources said. The person had the appearance of a drug user, it added.
