A man was found dead on the bed of a farmhouse located at Kongba Khetri Leikai under Irilbung police station, Imphal East district early Thursday, sources said.

The deceased has been identified as Kangabam Amarjit, 27, son of (L) K Mangi of Senjam Khunou near Spinning Mill, Imphal West district, police said.
Police said that some of their friends went to see Sangai Festival and after returning to the farmhouse they slept. And in the early morning he was found dead on his bed.

No case has been registered regarding the incident and the lifeless body has been handed over to the family members after signing an undertaking with Irilbung police station the same day.
