Special Judge (POCSO) Fast Track Court Manipur (1) on Friday convicted a 34-year-old man under section 6 of POCSO Act for committing aggravated sexual assault on a minor.

Longjam Pinky Singh, son of Inaocha of Singjamei Chanam Pukhri Mapal, has been convicted for committing aggravated sexual assault on the minor girl at different locations from June 28, 2014 to October 4, 2015.

The court has fixed Saturday for sentence hearing and announcement of the quantum of punishment against Pinky.
