Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB), Imphal, in association with Ibudhou Pakhangba Thougal Lup, Shillong, observed the ‘Kum Chanba’ ceremony at Red Land, Manipur Bhavan in Laitumkhrah on Sunday.

The ceremony was held in place of the annual Ibudhou Pakhangba Ekum Ekaba ceremony, which has been canceled this year owing to the prevailing tense situation in the state, stated a release.

It was held under the initiative of LSTB priest, Mani Meetei, it stated. Representatives of LSTB and Ibudhou Pakhangba Thougal Lup, Shillong attended the ceremony, it mentioned.
