Expenditure Observer for 1-Inner Manipur Pradhuman Badariprasad Meena, attended a training session on Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) in respect of Imphal East at Panchayat Bhawan, DC Office Complex, Porompat on Thursday.
The training was also attended by district election officer/ DC, Imphal East Khumanthem Diana Devi.
It was conducted by District Nodal Officer (EEM) Maisnam Chanu Liklainu as Master Trainer. The teams trained included Flying Squads, Static Surveillance Teams, Accounting Teams, Video Surveillance Teams, Video Viewings, Complaint Monitoring Control Room and Call Centre.
The forthcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024 in respect of 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency is slated to be held on April 19.
Meanwhile, the state government on Thursday notified that the Expenditure Observer Pradhuman Badariprasad Meena appointed by the Election Commission of India in connection with the conduct of Election to the House of People from No. 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, Manipur arrived on Wednesday.
He is to observe the election expenses incurred by the candidates, it stated. The notification was issued to all concerned, more particularly the intending Contesting Candidates/ their agents and all recognised National & State Political Parties functioning in Bishnupur district, it mentioned.
