Comrade Laishram Sotinkumar Singh has been named as the Communist Party of India’s (CPI) inner parliamentary candidate for the upcoming elections.

This decision was reached following a deliberation by the CPI national executive on 14, March 2024.

Comrade Laishram Sotinkumar Singh served previously as the secretary and currently holds the post of General Secretary of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) in Manipur.
