Lions Clubs International distributes relief materials at Kakching

Lions clubs distributed relief materials to 11 Relief Camps in Kakching District.

Under the overall supervision of International Association of Lions Clubs, the Manipur Crisis Relief Project under District -322 D of Manipur region on Saturday distributed relief materials to 11 Relief Camps in Kakching District.

The relief camps are Kalyan Ashram, Kakching; Yumbimacha High School, Kakching; Kha- Manipur College, Kakching; Kongoi Community Hall, Kakching; Old Aged Home, Kakching; Indoor Stadium, Kakching; Sanatombi High School, Keirak; Khomdonbi Memorial English School Kakching Khunou; Kakching Khunou Angom Leikai Relief Camp, Thongjao Maning Leikai Relief Camp, Langmeidong Higher Secondary School Relief Camp and Ibudhou Panganganba Community Hall, Hiyanglam covering all together 536 families of 1801 inmates.
The distributed items include Blankets for winter, Rice, Dal, Cooking oil, Package Water, Sanitary items, Soaps and Salt to each family.

Lion W Gopimohon Singh, Immediate Past District Governor, M Kapajit Singh, MCS Addl. DC/ Kakching, Lion M Gojendro Singh, Past District Governor, Lion H Manikumar Singh, Past District Governor, Lion Purnachandra Paddy, Immediate Past District Governor, District 322/C-4, Lion Th. Kesho Singh, Chairperson and First Vice District Governor were among the Lion dignitaries on the Dias.

Many Lions members from different Lions Clubs of Manipur were also present in today’s relief materials distribution function in Kakching District.
