A labour card distribution ceremony was organised by Sun Rise Club along with Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board at Kadamtala in Jiribam district on Monday.
The event was attended by Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board chairperson K Sarat Kumar Singh, Jiribam BJP Mandal vice president Tahemang Panmei, councilor Mutum Bina Devi and social worker S Gitarani Devi as the presidium members. During the ceremony, a total of 50 beneficiaries received their labour cards.
On the occasion, K Sarat Kumar Singh informed that the individuals who were absent in the ceremony can collect their respective labour cards from the Sun Rise Club members.
He also said that the organisation will shortly organise an awareness programme to inform the people about the opportunities they can avail of with the labour card.
