The muslim population of Sekmaijin Khunou Konuma, Kakching district reportedly announced that they will support Alyson Abonmei, candidate of the upcoming Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

One MD Firoj of Konuma announced the decision taken during an election meeting held in support of Alyson. Firoj recalled the active roles taken by the candidate during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alyson has also been trying his best to revive peace and normalcy in the state in the ongoing violence, said Firoj.

He added that the Muslims of Konuma have taken the resolution to support him.
