A joint statement signed by Khumji-3 village chief Sk Tunjinang, Khumji Youth Club president R Chunkeingam and Khumji-3 women soceity was handed over to Janghemlung Panmei. 

The declaration statement which was made available to the media mentioned that the Khumji-3 Thoubei, Village Authority, Women and Youths unanimously resolved in one spirit and solemnly declared unconditional support to the intending BJP Candidate Janghemlung Panmei in the coming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election 2022 in the Tamenglong (ST) assembly constituency.

The solemn declaration of support for Janghemlung Panmei was organised by Khumji-3 village authority in collaboration with Awangkhul and Houchong ADC segment and election steering committee of Janghemlung Panmei. 

A special mass prayer for Janghemlung Panmei was held by Nungtek-1 Baptist Church pastor reverend Viton during the solemn declaration of support for Janghemlung Panmei.

BJP Manipur Pradesh former president Meinam Bhorot Singh, BJP Manipur Pradesh, state secretary Paokam Haokip, BJP Manipur Pradesh department of election management convener Th Mathew Rongmei, BJP Manipur Pradesh ST Morcha spokesperson Kh Bukali, BJP Manipur Pradesh ST Morcha Vice President Poubigai, ex-ADC members including Charles Liangdiyang, Pouhotlung Panmei, Keikhumjanang, Makiureiyang Gonmei, Adim Panmei, and other prominent politician were among the guests that attended the programme. 

BJP Manipur Pradesh state secretary Paokam Haokip launched the BJP symbol ‘Lotus’ campaign during the programme. Speaking on the occasion, BJP intending candidate Janghemlung Panmei expressed his gratitude to all the voters of Awangkhul and Houchong segment organising the event.

Special songs and dance were performed by several artistes during the event.
