A release by KDS stated that the organisation had informed the authorities about the bad conditions of the Khangabok Lamlong Makha road earlier this year.  Thereafter, the government had initiated ‘singling’ work for the road. Unfortunately, the construction was stopped for more than four months, causing inconveniences to the locals particularly due to mud and puddles during the rainy days, it added.

Asserting that the Khangabok Lamlong Makha road is a very important Inter-Village road for the Khangabok Village, the release maintained that the present deteriorated condition of the road is due to the prolonged negligence by the government. It demanded the authorities to resume and complete the construction work of the road promptly.
