The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party People’s War Group (KCP-PWG) on Sunday distributed essential food items to orphans and senior citizens as a part of the celebration of 5th Foundation Day of PWG (Marxist Centre) at the organisation’s general headquarters.
A release issued by Secretary of central media coordinator PWG Lenin Meitei claimed that the BJP government is falling apart and asserted that the BJP government’s withdrawal of the contentious three farm laws after the nationwide display of the power of the farmers and common people is a firm example. Condemning the BJP government for disregarding the deaths of protesting farmers, he extends acknowledgement to their unwavering spirits. Calling the BJP government a fascist rule, he affirmed that the unrelenting spirits of the agitating protesters against the oppressing authorities are an inspiration.
The release further stated that the notion of being dependent on others getting accepted in the state in increasing numbers is a threat to the betterment of the people of Manipur. The corrupted political leaders, who denied their own cultures and traditions for the sake of their own gains, have started to pollute the youths using election campaigns and politics, he added. Lamenting the political and electoral involvements of the Meira Paibi organisations, he urged the meira paibis to recall the spirit of Nupi Lal. Accusing the BJP government for tormenting the common people by unreasonably hiking the price of essential items, he urged the public to realise the gravity of the situations and act immediately.
