Kamjong District Police carried out Biometrics verification at Phaikok and Huimin Thana Village near Border Pillar No. 102, which is 35 km south east from Chassad Police Station, Kamjong District.

The team, led by Additional SP (L/O) Kamjong Semmi Ramror, carried out the verification on Wednesday over suspicious entry of illegal immigrants.
The verification started from 10 am at Phaikok Village and ended at 4 pm in Huimin Thana Village. Sources said that Humin Thana village has only 14 surnames.
As many as 138 villagers were verified and no illegal immigrants were found. The verification will again continue on Thursday in the border villages.
