Kakching gets new district police HQ, upper primary school building

With an objective of oneness, different programmes have been inaugurated and taken up in various districts of the state, PWD and YAS Minister K Govindas Singh said.

Manipur PWD and YAS Minister K Govindas Singh on Wednesday inaugurated Kakching District Police HQ and Upper Primary School building in Kakching district HQ.

Speaking at the occasion as chief guest, Govindas stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ideology for a new India, the Manipur chief minister has initiated like Go to Village and Go to Hills programmes for better coordination and administration of the government.

With an objective of oneness, different programmes have been inaugurated and taken up in various districts of the state.

The construction of Kakching District Police HQ was undertaken by Manipur Police Housing Corporation Ltd while the construction of the school building and two units of toilets at Upper Primary school, Irong Salam Achouba was initiated under the Department of Minority Affairs, Government of Manipur.

The inaugural function was attended by MLA and chairman, Manipur Pollution Control Board Dr Usham Deben Singh, MLA Hiyanglam AC Dr Radheshyam Yumnam and  Ph Jiten Singh, Adhyakshya Kakching Zila Parishad, Deputy Commissioner, Kakching,  Somorjit Salam, officials of Manipur Police Housing Corporation Ltd former Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, Councillors and District Level officers.
