The Baptist Youth Department (BYD) of Zeliangrong Baptist Church (ZBC) on Tuesday conducted a ‘Jumble Sales’ at Haipou Jadonang Park, Tamenglong on Tuesday.
Speaking to media persons, Baptist Youth department secretary Rimthanlung Riamei said that the jumble sales was conducted as a fundraiser in aid of Hospital visit and Relief Fund for the sick and needy.
He said the jumble sales would be continued till Wednesday, adding that the proceeds of the sale will go to the poor, sick and needy within Tamenglong Town.
The youth department of Zeliangrong Baptist Church Tamenglong organised the two-day sales venture for the sole purpose of executing philanthropic work, he mentioned. He appealed to all citizens of Tamenglong to come forward and buy something for the sake of poor and needy persons.
