Jiribam's Babukhal road cut off

Jiribam Development Organisation president N Sadananda Meitei urged Chief Minister N Biren and the Works minister to promptly commence the repair of the damaged roads in Jiribam.

Villagers of Babukhal village, Jiribam district are struggling to travel in and out as the road at the entrance of the village was cut off on Thursday as the ground sank due to floods and erosion from heavy rainfall.

Considering the issue, one Meitram Bijen said that amid the pre-existing problems of floods, landslide and mudslide, the villagers of Babukhal village struggled to travel around as roads at the entrance of the village sank due to floods and erosion from heavy rainfall. He urged the authorities concerned to take up necessary action to repair the damaged roads immediately.
