The IXth Border Area Kuki Sporting Association (BAKSA) Sports Meet held at Maokot village in Kamjong district ended on Thursday.
The sports meet, participated by 12 teams, was also marked by cultural dance competition and felicitation of successful students from the border area.
Molvailup Welfare Youth Club and Maokot Youth Club bagged the Champion and Runner-up prizes in Men's football and two teams from Maokot Youth Club walked away with the first and second prize in Men's Volleyball.
Mollen Youth Club and Maokot Youth Club won the first and second prizes in Cultural Dance Competition and Ladies Volleyball respectively.
The event was attended by executives of Eastern Kuki Chiefs' Association (EKCA), South Eastern Kuki Youth Organisation (SEKYO) and Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) Kamjong District as dignitaries.
