The internal roads of the 143 Bn CRPF at Lamphelpat in Imphal West were named after three martyrs of the CRPF from Manipur during the celebration of 85th CRPF Day.

The name of the martyrs are Shaheed CT/GD S Sanjit Singh of Sapam, Thoubal; Shaheed CT/GD Md Latif of Lilong Sangomsang, Thoubal and Shaheed CT/GD H Punshi Sing of Khurkhul, Imphal West, stated a release issued by the commandant of 143 Bn CRPF Ravinder Sharma.

The celebration of 85th CRPF Day was graced by IGP of CRPF Manipur and Nagaland Sector Akhilesh Prasad Singh who also interacted with the family members of the martyrs, it added.
