Speaking at the interaction programme, Brajakumar exhorted the fellows to be more participative and clear their doubts without any hesitation as this fellowship is purely research-based.

He further urged the fellows to attend any interaction programme convened by the department as it is purely organised to sharpen their area of coverage.

"Use simple words when you write or make your report so that every one can understand the subject matter. Because climate change is dynamic and as I emphasised earlier everyone must be taken along. Talk to the villagers what they feel about the changes taking place in their surroundings. Then break up the people you should connect including youth, intellectuals, and elderly ones. And listen to what they have to say about the ongoing climate change impact," he emphasised.
