State Platform of Disabled People’s Organisations Manipur (SPDPO) has urged every political party of Manipur to include disabilities welfare programmes in the election manifesto.

Addressing a press conference held at Singjamei Chingamathak Hao Ground on Sunday, SPDPO president Md Yunus Khan said that a political party should include disability welfare programmes in their manifesto and the programme should turn into action.

In the past MP elections, no political party added a disabilities welfare programme. This time they should discuss it and include a welfare programme, he added.
