Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh general secretary K Sarat Kumar on Saturday said that INC is known across the country as ‘I Need Corruption’ instead of being known as the ‘Indian national Congress’.
He was speaking to the media at its state party head office located at Nityaipat CHuthek, Imphal on Saturday.
On Wednesday, the Income Tax department conducted a raid at three different places, namely Jharkhand, Bangalore and Odisha. During the raid at the residence of Rajya Sabha Congress MP Dhiraj Sahu, who is the closest to Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, the income tax officers seized a sum of Rs 210 crore in cash, he said.
Sarat Kumar added that seizing of such huge amounts from Dhiraj Sahu showed that Congress party is involved in corruption. Dhiraj is one of the most important members of the party and he is also taking a major role in the Congress party, he added.
Sarat Kumar claimed that Dhiraj Sahu is like an ATM machine for Congress leaders, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge who is the national president of INC. Dhiraj also took a major role during ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, he added.
No such scandalous incidents have been found with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Any allegation made by the Congress party to BJP leaders are baseless as they are playing blame games in order to get political mileage, he added.
An investigation report from the income tax will be highlighted to the public soon, he said.
