Lilong SDO along with a team of Water Resource department and Thoubal district police conducted a demolition drive along the Lilong River from Lilong Bridge to Arapti Lamkhai of village No 16 under the Lilong Sub Division, Thoubal.

During the demolition drive, the team led by Lilong SDO demolished all establishments and residences which had illegally encroached upon the lands along the Lilong River from the Lilong Bridge to Arapti Lamkhai.

It can be mentioned that Lilong SDO Angom Sijalembi issued a public notice on August 3, informing all concerned to remove their illegal structures constructed along the Lilong River from the Lilong Bridge to Arapti Lamkhai, and from Arapti Lamkhai to Arapti Water Supply, by 3.30 pm of September 1.
