Human Rights Day 2022: Let us reaffirm our pledge to honour our rights and duties, says Manipur CM Biren

Joining the observation of Human Rights Day 2022, Chief Minister N Biren Singh asserted that protection of human rights is the highest form of service to mankind.

As the world observed Human Rights Day on Saturday, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh also called upon the people of the state to reaffirm plede to honour each other's rights as as duties.

"Protection of human rights is the highest form of service to mankind. Let us reaffirm our pledge to honour one another's Rights as well as Duties on this occasion of the #HumanRightsDay," the chief minister said in a Twitter post.

This year, Human Rights Day is being observed with the theme - "Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All." On December 10, 2023, the world will observed the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
