The Duty Magistrate, Imphal West remanded editor Dhanabir Maibam of Hueiyen Lanpao, into three days police custody till January 7.

Dhanbir Maibam, editor of Hueiyen Lanpao, one of the prominent vernacular dailies in Manipur, was arrested by Imphal police on Friday morning.
He was arrested under section 153-A/505(1)(B) 505(2)/120-B IPC & 3 (1)(C), 3(2), 5(d), 5(2),5 (3) of Official Secrets Act 1923.
