The Healing Gospel Cathedral (HGC) from Chennai reached out to Internally Displaced Persons in Kangpokpi district with relief materials on Monday.
The Healing Gospel Cathedral is one of the largest churches in Chennai which always responds to affected victims of various disasters by extending all possible help in various parts of India.
Under its “Manipur Relief Operation, 2023”, a team of Healing Gospel Cathedral reached out to the Internally Displaced Persons at various Relief Camp in Kangpokpi district with its “Hope Bag” containing relief materials.
The HGC team on Monday visited a Relief Camp at Keithelmanbi Government High School.
Earlier, the HGC also visited various other relief camps in the district, including T Waichong Relief Camp in the interior part of the district.
Dilip B, a Member of the HGC, said that they have come to help the Internally Displaced Persons during such a terrible time while adding that they have planned to reach out to thousands of families.
He also said that during the Himachal Pradesh flood, they reached out to thousands of flood-affected victims with relief materials.
