Former executive member of ADC Chandel Gouzamang Guite and his team on Saturday announced that discussions are being held for extension of the subsidy of the helicopter service of Mizoram under the Union Home Affairs Ministry to Lamka sector, Churachandpur district in Manipur.
Gouzamang Guite and his team called a press briefing at New Lamka about their meeting with Mizoram CM and president of MNF Zoramthanga on Thursday at his office chambers at Aizawl.
Gouzamang Guite said that they had discussed the extension of the subsidy of the helicopter service, at which “the chief minister of Mizoram was all ears and extended his support.”
The team led by an intending candidate from Churachandpur assembly constituency also talked to the Mizoram chief minister about the upcoming elections in Manipur and the way to introduce the Mizoram National Front (MNF) in Churachandpur district.
It was announced that the decision will come out soon as the intending candidate was an MNF supporter who owns a farm where a helipad was constructed.
