Former Judicial Officer Golmei Gaiphulshillu Kabui has been appointed as a judge of Manipur High Court, in a order issued by the Ministry of Law & Justice on Friday.

The appointment shall become effective from the date she assumes charge of the office, the order said.
The name of Judicial Officer Golmei was recommended for appointment as a judge by the Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on January 10, 2023.

She retired as Registrar General of Manipur High Court.
