The Gangte Officers’ Forum (GOF) has announced sponsorship to ten (10) deserving students for undergoing coaching for different competitive exams. This was announced by Pu S. Thienlaljoy Gangte, MCS, Joint Secretary, GOF during the one-day exposition on motivation and career guidance christened LAMHILH, organised by GOF at Council Hall, ESC Secretariat, Chiengkonpang, Churachandpur on Saturday.
The selection of students will be based on criteria laid out by the forum. About 120 students of different levels drawn from various parts of the district participated in today’s programme.
Resource persons and motivational speakers which included Sharath Chandra Arroju, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur; Dharun Kumar, IAS, SDO Ccpur; Thangboi Gangte, MCS; Maj Rahul Kumar Verma of 31 AR; Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Gangte, MBBS; Seikhohao, Director, Ultimate Coaching Centre, Ccpur; Gingoulun, Asst Commandant, ITBP; T Songminlun Gangte, Asst Prof; Siempee Gangte, Retd NPS & adviser, GOF shared their experiences and insightful knowledge to guide and motivate the young students on wide and varied career options.
