Free medical camp held at relief camp

The camp was aimed to provide necessary medical assistance to the affected and displaced victims of the conflict, stated a release.

The All Manipur Ethnical Socio-cultural Organisation (AMESCO) organised a free medical camp cum cervical cancer programme at the relief camp opened at Kamakhya Pemton College in Hiyangthang on Saturday.

The camp was held along with the medical department for the second time. It aimed to provide necessary medical assistance to the affected and displaced victims of the conflict, stated a release.

Medical experts gave insights on cervical cancer, it mentioned and added that those staying at the relief camp were provided free check-ups and free medicines. Registration for Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) card was also conducted at the camp, it stated.
