A free medical camp was organised on Sunday at the relief centre opened at Heirok Higher Secondary School under the initiative of Heirok MLA Th Radheshyam, who is also the advisor of Peace and Relief Committee.
As many as 51 displaced villagers from different places are taking shelter at the relief camp. The medical camp was assisted by the district administration of Thoubal. The organisers distributed free medicines to the inmates of the relief camp.
Speaking to the media, convenor of the relief centre, Laishram Jadumani said that they have opened 3 relief camps since the start of the violence on May 3.
