Former general secretary of LJP, Manipur who is also the intending candidate of Lamsang Assembly constituency, Khundrapam Kanba Meitei and candidate of Wabagai AC Md Sikander Ali alias Achou on Friday joined Janata Dal United (JDU).

Both of them were felicitated at JDU, Manipur head office in Imphal West by national general secretary of JDU and Northeast in-charge Afaque Ahmed Khan and state president of JDU Hangkhanpao Taithul.
Speaking on the occasion, Afaque informed that he is here in Imphal to take stock of the ongoing preparation of mega rally of the party due to the held on December 18. JDU national president Lalan Singh is likely to attend the rally.
