Flag march, joint patrol in Moreh

The flag march led by RAF assistant commandant and OC Moreh went through the routes within the jurisdiction of Moreh Police station including Moreh Gate no. 1 and 2.

A combined team of Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Moreh Police Station carried out a flag march in Moreh Town, which is at the Myanmar border in Tengnoupal district around 2 pm after the curfew relaxation timings on Saturday.

The flag march led by RAF assistant commandant and OC Moreh went through the routes within the jurisdiction of Moreh Police station including Moreh Gate no. 1 and 2 and concluded at 3.30 pm, as per sources. However, MR/IRB and Special Commandos deployed at Moreh town reportedly did not take part in the flag march.

Further, area domination patrolling from 3.30 pm to 5 pm was conducted by a combined team of Commando, Special Commandos,Tengnoupal District Police, 5AR, 2/8 GR, BSF in the main Moreh town.

As per reports, most areas of Moreh town are under constant surveillance by the state force, while the Assam Rifles are deployed in Holenphai and T-Minou area. It may be mentioned that curfew is imposed from 2 pm till 6 am everyday in Moreh.
