Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Independent candidate Alyson Abonmei on Friday assured that he will work towards reviving the peace and normalcy by resolving the ongoing violence which has already been 11 months, if he wins the upcoming Lok Sabha Election.
Speaking at his flag hoisting ceremony held at Giving Tree campus in Khabam Matai, Imphal East District held on Friday, he said that he did not become a candidate of the upcoming election for his personal gain but for the development and unification of Manipur.
He also assured that he will also take active roles in emphasising the education, agriculture, horticulture and Sports sector of the state. He appealed to the people to extend their support towards him for a better Manipur.
Social worker MD Latif, Zeliangrong Baudi president Poupoklung Kamei and people from different districts attended the event. Zeliangrong Baudi president Poupoklung Kamei also assured that the Zeliarong community will also extend their support to Alyson Abonmei in the election.
