Manipur has reported five new COVID-19 cases from five different testing centres in the last 24 hours, official sources said.
The COVID-19 Common Control Room on Monday stated in a release that one male, four females and one CAPF personnel tested positive for COVID-19.
The positive cases from the general population are from Imphal East - one and Imphal West - three. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it stated.
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported no cases of deaths caused by COVID-19. The cumulative number of deaths remained 2,148.
As many as two persons were discharged after completion of surveillance.
The cumulative number of positive cases stands at 1,39,764, recovered cases at 1.37,593, number of active cases at 23 and recovery rate at 98.45 per cent.
As on September 11, a total of 118 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 0 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on September 11 is 523.The cumulative number of doses administered so far is 3205052. Of the total; the cumulative number of the first dose is 1637217, second dose is 1313693 and precautionary dose is 254142.
