Five Manipur journalists on press tour to Madhya Pradesh

The main objective of the press tour is to provide the media an opportunity to see for themselves the development of the various Government of India schemes in Madhya Pradesh.

A five-member press team from Manipur has left Imphal today for a five-day press tour to Madhya Pradesh as a part of the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme.

The main objective of this press tour is to provide the media an opportunity to see for themselves the development of the various Government of India schemes in Madhya Pradesh.

The tour seeks to enable coverage of important programmes and projects of various ministries, and in this case, to see how the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Vans give out the messages of saturation of various schemes in Madhya Pradesh.

Further, it is to provide an opportunity to journalists of Manipur to understand the ground realities with respect to impact of Central government schemes in Madhya Pradesh.

During their stay in Madhya Pradesh the team will visit Bio CNG Plant in Indore District, SANCHI Solar Plant and Indore City which was continuously awarded top clean city six times in ranking of SWACHHTA Survey of Government of India.

The team will also pay a visit to AIIMS Bhopal which got International patent in their innovation and research in respect of Orthopaedics.

Besides these, the press team will also visit and interact with beneficiaries of various Central government schemes in Madhya Pradesh.

The press tour is being organised by Press Information Bureau, Imphal in collaboration with Press Information Bureau Bhopal under the aegis of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Govt of India.
