Financial aid extended to three Khamenlok victims’ families

Financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each was handed over to the family members of late Moirangthem Hemant Meetei, late Laishram Suresh and late Yumnam Surajitkumar

Manipuri Meeitei Association Banglore (MMAB) through Relief Committee JNIMS on Monday handed over financial assistance to three different family members of the ones who were killed in Khamenlok incident of June 13.

The financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each was handed over to the family members of late Moirangthem Hemant Meetei, late Laishram Suresh and late Yumnam Surajitkumar during a meeting held at the residence of Yumnam Tanoubi at Oksu Ningthemcha village, Imphal East district.

The financial assistance was handed over before the representatives of the village development committee, Oksu Ningthemcha village; Leimarol Meira Paibi and Ningthemcha Village Youth Club.

Relief committee JNIMS chairman, Thoidingjam Bon Khurai urged the state government, Pradhan, MLAs to provide necessary assistance including PDS items to the family members who were killed during the present crisis.

He also appreciated MMAB for providing financial assistance to the three different family members.

Secretary of Leimarol Meira Paibi, Waribam Shanti Devi appreciated MMAB and relief committee JNIMS for providing financial assistance to three different family members so that it could help in the weaving business.

President of the village development committee Oksu Ningthemcha Lukram Ibungohal Meetei also attended the programme.
