Filing of nominations for the annual election of Manipur Students’ Association Delhi (MSAD) Executive Committee for the term 2024-25 began from Tuesday.
MSAD, in a release, briefed the schedule of the election. It stated that filing of nominations from eligible candidates will be held till March 8.
It also said that scrutiny will be on March 9 at 2.30 pm, while polling will be held on March 10 from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Announcement of Result will be on March 11 and Oath-taking Ceremony of the elected candidates will be on March 12 at 2.30 pm, it added.
It further mentioned the polling stations for the election including Faculty of Arts, Delhi University, Open Air Theater, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Sports Complex, Jamia Millia Islamia University and Karampura Campus, Ambedkar University Delhi.
It further said that students from Manipur in any of the Colleges/Universities/Institutes in Delhi-NCR can file nominations for the Executive Committee 2024-25. It also listed the guidelines for filing nominations.
It informed that forms can be obtained from MSAD Election Committee and added that the duly filled and signed forms must be submitted to the Election Committee on or before the last date, either physically or via email (msad.manipur@gmail.com) or Whatsapp. Nomination and Withdrawal after March 8 will not be accepted, it maintained.
