Exchange of fire between Zeliarong United Front (ZUF) and NSCN (I-M) took place at Tokpa Kabui (Zeikulong), 3 km north of Loktak Police station on Monday at around 11.30 am.

As per police reports, the area falls under Churachandpur district even if it is under the jurisdiction of Loktak PS.

The gunfight continued till 12.30 pm, as per reports and no casualties were reported.
