The All Manipur Ethnical Socio-cultural Organisation (AMESCO) on Wednesday lamented over the pre-election situation in the state and asserted that the same has created a sense of disunity among the people amidst the prevailing conflict.

AMESCO, in a release, also informed that the organisation has resolved to call off its annual ‘Sajibu Khudol Tamba Ee gi Khongul Leeba’ event observed with an aim to forge unity among the various communities in the State since earlier times this year owing to the prevailing tense situation in the state.

It further extended greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Sajibu Cheiraoba and Eid-Ul-Fitr festivals.
