Eimi Times, a bilingual daily newspaper in Thadou-Kuki and English, was relaunched by N Lungdim on Monday at K Angam Building, near B Vengnom Community Hall, Tuibong, Churachandpur after it went defunct in 2022.
Eimi Times, Managing Board chairman H Lungdim said that Eimi Times, which started in 2012 was the only newspaper from the community.
It was relaunched with the old RNI numbers and layout with the exception of a new Managing Board and station at Churachandpur while it was formerly published from New Lambuland at Imphal, he said.
He further said that they are grateful to different organisations of the Kuki community for coordinating with them in their efforts, saying that all hawkers and staff are in place now in different areas where the Kuki community resides.
