Condemning the Central and state government’s alleged failure to resolve the long-standing conflict in Manipur which has crossed over four months, Meira Paibis of Langmeithet on Saturday burned the effigies of the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and Manipur Chief Minister.

The irate mob also condemned the violence that broke out at Pallel on Friday, in which 2 individuals were killed and several sustained injuries.
