A team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border, Manipur on Tuesday arrested four persons from Haji Ali Barbar Fast Food, Mantripukhri near St Mother Teresa Home in Imphal West district.
Police sources said that the four arrested were identified as one Yumkhaibam Abdul Noor, 23, of Mayang Imphal Bengoon; Tutumani Kalita, 24, of Darang district, Assam; Bidyut Sutradhar, 27, of Fasal Goalpara, Assam and Bikas Sutradhar, 18, of Fasal Goalpara, Assam.
The NAB team reportedly seized 1240 bottles of Relex-CT containing codeine phosphate from Haji Ali Barbar Fast Food.
Further, the team also recovered one Tata Truck bearing registration number AS01NC 3293, two mobile phones and other documents relating to their identity.
A case has been registered in NAB PS for further investigation.
