The Director General attended briefings by Brigadier Bikram Saini, DIG  22 sector Assam Rifles and Commandants of 22 Assam Rifles and 33 Assam Rifles on various operational and administrative matters.

Director General Assam Rifles also awarded one officer, two Junior Commissioned Officers and six other ranks with Commendation Cards.

The DG interacted with troops and apart from enquiring about their well-being, applauded them for the good work being done by them.

DG also urged the troops to be people friendly while carrying out the Operations against the Insurgents.
