Manipur BJP president A Sharda Devi on Friday said the demand for ‘Separate Administration’ is not by BJP but by the 10 Kuki-Zo MLAs including 7 BJP MLAs and informed that the state BJP has already submitted a memorandum to the central leaders to take appropriate action against those seven MLAs.
Sharda told the media at the state party’s head office on Friday that 10 Kuki-Zo MLAs including seven BJP MLAs, two KPA MLAs and one independent MLA are demanding separation administration but not by the BJP party.
She said the state BJP has been against disintegration of territorial integrity and boundary of Manipur and will stand on the decision.
Sharda said the state BJP has already submitted a memorandum to national party president JP Nadda earlier to take necessary action against the seven BJP MLAs who are involved in demanding separate administration.
Reacting on her recent viral video in social media, Sharda clarified that the demand of ‘separate administration’ was made by the Kuki-Zo MLAs not by BJP.
BJP will remain on its stance to protect territorial integrity of Manipur and will work on the sentiment of the people of Manipur, Sharda added.
